I didn't have all the qualifications.

I didn't have a bunch of free time.

I was broke as a new high school teacher.

I didn't know the first thing about social media.

I was at my unhealthiest - mentally and physically.

I felt like a shell of who I could be and I knew there MUST be MORE to life than just working a job that burnt my candle from both ends so I could pay the bills until I died, unhappy in my own skin and life. I was in student debt, couldn't poop or sleep, and felt immense anxiety every morning, driving to work.

In 2015, I stumbled across an old friend's FB post, where she looked VIBRANT and HAPPY as hell. You know the kind. A part of you is happy for her, and another part of you is jealous, irritated and triggered. "There's no way that's real" you think. I MESSAGED her, despite my doubts, desperate for some guidance in my own journey, and willing to try something new.

WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?

I dove into the at home workout programs, quality supplements and supportive online community.

I swapped my magazines for "self help" books and started binging on podcasts.

I learned how to eat for my health, and started healing my body.

I started hosting my own online wellness challenges each month, and inviting others to join me in them.

I SOAKED up the positivity, love and free trainings within our coach community.

I started sharing my journey on social media, sort of like a digital wellness journal, in the hopes it could inspire others.

I began meditating, paying off my student debt, and earning free trips with the company (just for helping people!)

I began receiving "thank you, you changed my life" messages from other women who were joining my monthly challenges.

I paid off ALL my debt and retired from classroom teaching at age 26.

But my favourite thing that has come out of me becoming a Beachbody Coach?

It helped me rediscover and fall in love with who I really am as a person.

And that shit is priceless.
