Do you know what it feels like to be at war in your mind? At war in your body?

You feel so out of alignment it makes you sick?

You know you're compromising yourself and your values, but you don't feel worthy of standing up for yourself?

You're not sure where to turn, you just know that something has to change?

Today's conversation is for you, dear friend.

This is a gut-punch-loving-hug kinda pep talk and I can promise it'll leave you feeling better than before you pressed play.

Kelsey Low is a Self Love & Empowerment coach from Visalia, California.

Over the past 6 years she has spent 32 months abroad. During these travels and experiences she came home to her own heart and personal power. She now works with women on overcoming procrastination & self-beat up and instead learning to meditate and take messy action. Kelsey has a podcast called 'Joyfully You' and a group coaching program called GLOW self love mastermind. Both of these outlets are ways Kelsey guides empathetic women in their self love journey.

And HOT DIGGITY, did we ever have a juicy conversation. Kelsey is an absolute RAY OF LIGHT and I'm so grateful she blessed us with her wisdom on the podcast today!

People want to see you happy. Focus on doing what you love and you’ll create more love for others.

You are your home.⁣ No one can take you away from you.⁣ And it’s OUR JOB individually to cultivate peace inside our own home. Inside our own mind, body and soul.

In this episode, we talked about:

  • Kelsey's upbringing with travelling missionary parents (starting with her first move to India at 6 months old!)

  • How she's lived abroad for 36 months of the last 6 years and solo travels

  • What to do when you're compromising yourself and your values

  • Being in a relationship with a narcissist and how to choose yourself instead

  • How to make money online

  • Cultivating a sense of safety internally vs externally

  • Worthiness, Self Love and Self Forgiveness

  • Guilt, shame and addiction

  • Kelsey's profound experience with a healing plant medicine ceremony in Mexico

  • How to ask for what you really want (and why this matters with the men in your life)

  • How to cultivate a sense of peace and home within yourself

  • Befriending the (mean girl) committee in our minds

  • How to personify and name the bully in your head

  • Using meditation, journaling and affirmations to tune inwards

  • Louise Hay's "mirror work"

  • Inner child work and the "Russian Doll" effect (this was sooo good!)

  • The Emotional Vibrational Scale and how to start feeling better

  • Using movement to release / move stuck energy

  • Why crying is like pooping ;)

  • How to do a "vibe test" with other people

  • Hands down the BEST answer to "how can people live more intentional lives today" I've ever received!!!
