You know when you meet someone and it feels like they understand you on a deeper level without you having to say anything? That's kind of what happened when Leah Perrault was a guest speaker at our marriage prep course we took this last Spring. She was well-spoken, funny, candid and completely down-to-earth honest about Sex, Relationships, Faith, NFP (natural family planning) and how to track, chart and work WITH your cycle. I was HOOKED.
If you've been following my journey for the last few years, you would know that I am ALL about working WITH my cycle and optimizing my life through listening to my body and feeling good.
And then, when I read the following excerpt off of Leah's website, I knew we were going to have a juicy chat for the podcast all about living and loving intentionally.
“I am so in love with this crazy, amazing life. I’m not sure how God dreamed up a world where I get to walk, unfiltered, through creation, tasting and seeing so much beauty and joy, heartbreak and sorrow and then I am invited to love through it all. Mostly, I am standing in awe at the miracle of showing up for my life, being able to experience this moment, and the next one, and the one after that.”
Leah Perrault is the Director of Mission at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon. She is also an author of three books, has a master’s of arts in pastoral theology from the University of St. Michael’s College at the Toronto School of Theology (2009), is a female christian speaker who does keynote speaking, retreat facilitation and workshops for all ages and she writes a lovely column, Barefoot & Preaching, while working hard to raise four kids and maintain a loving relationship with her husband, Marc.
And today? She is the feature speaker on the Live On Purpose Podcast!
