How to be a badass: Core De Force

What the heck is Core de Force? And why am I so FLIPPING excited about this program?!

Core de Force is one of Team Beachbody's newest at home fitness programs. It is an explosive mixed martial arts-inspired total body workout designed by Beachbody Super Trainers Joel Freeman and Jericho McMatthews to blast fat and carve your waist in just 30 days - with no equipment. And I for one am VERY excited about it.

Why? Because as we head into the holiday season, this is typically where most people "fall off" the health and fitness bandwagon and they let the treats and parties catch up with them. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm ALL for potlucks, parties, bottles of wine, etc... #yolo, amiright?? BUT I also know how crappy it feels to wake up on the first day of the New Year, knowing that you've just set your progress back by over-indulging on rich foods and drink. And I am SO over that whole "yoyo" effect of the seasons. Ever wanted to feel awesome and confident year round? I'm here to show you how.

So, I'm excited, because with the launch of Core de Force, we can have our cake and eat it too this holiday season!! (By implementing the easy to follow nutrition guide it comes with, daily shakeology that I swear by and following the workout calendar, in case I wasn't making myself clear on that whole cake eating business). The best part? The meal plan is REALISTIC and helps to create sustainable habits WHILE helping you to get healthier, leaner and stronger aka you can still enjoy your red wine with dinner, or a piece of dark chocolate banana bread. Here's the break down:

- Zero equipment necessary. All you need are runners, shorts and a badass attitude. - The workouts are 30-45 minutes in length, 6 days a week (with a stretch day on the 7th). The workout program is 30 days long.

- The meal plan is effective, easy to follow and uses a colour coded portion control container system to teach you HOW much and WHAT to eat for your body type and goals. - Adding daily Shakeology to your Core De Force experience is going to enhance your health, energy levels, stabilize digestion and make you feel BETTER all around! There are 8 workouts in this program:

MMA Speed - Upper body and core-focused, this boxing influenced workout is short-but packs a serious punch. (27 minutes)

MMA Shred - Kick things up a notch with Muay-Thai inspired elbows and kicks for a total-body shred that'll lean you out fast. (37 minutes)

MMA Power - Using explosive and defensive style movements in this fast-paced cardio conditioning workout will help you carve a tight lean body. (47 minutes)

MMA Plyo - What happens when you combine boxing, Muay Thai and plyometrics into one workout? You'll knockout hundreds of calories and spike your fat burn into overdrive. (47 minutes)

Power Sculpt - A total-body burner that uses explosive power and interval training to sculpt lean muscle and build next-level endurance. (37 minutes)

Dynamic Strength - Low on impact, but high on intensity, you'll carve impressive definition with this no-equipment, bodyweight throwdown. (47 minutes)

Active Recovery - Recharge for the week ahead with this rest day workout that focuses on form and technique to fight muscle stiffness and soreness. (21 minutes)

CORE DE FORCE Relief - Prepare for the next day's workout with this quick 5-minute, before-bed stretch session.
